On Friday, March 26th, 1999, at approximately 9:00 PM,
Ben had a fatal accident with a car.
He will be missed.
They aren't great pictures - they're scanned chunks of Polaroids - but here they are!
These pictures are from late November / early December 1997.
This one's a little fuzzy because I was really too close for the fixed focal length camera.
One of the very few pictures I got that showed his tail - you only see it when he's not laying down. And it's difficult to get a picture of him "not laying down"!

I took this picture in November 1998 - it was the first time I'd seen Ben and Chela curled up together!
They both got haircuts 19 December 1998 - this picture is the "before".
And these are the "after"!
